| Journeys Sold to an unknown couple by Turnbull Studio Garden in Maui, this was painted in 2005 to prepare for an abstract class I was scheduled to teach. I wanted to incorporate as many moods, shapes, and textures as possible. Then I put it in a gallery, which required me to title it. "Journeys", in retrospect, was a most appropriate title as it represented my life as a journey of discovery. Today, this painting reminds me of my journey of healing, and in the future, perhaps something else. It will mean something different for everyone. (22" x 30" Watercolor on 300 lb Arches rough) |
