| Empress of the Sea Jeweled rocks were created from quick dabs at the surface with a paint-drenched brush. The sun highlights the churning waters swirling about her. Empress of the Sea was inspired from battling with five (they seemed more like eight!) foot waves one October day with my sister in strong currents off Fleming Beach, Maui.
